Finished size: 78” x 78”

This design is a lot of fun, sewn in a continuous line. This means you don’t have to worry about your prints ever being upside down or sideways as in other versions of the block.

Requirements:

Based on 44” wide fabrics.

30cm of 25 fabrics or 50cm of 13 fabrics, using each one twice.

1.2 metres for border 1(red) and binding.

1.2 metres for border 2.

Wadding and backing to fit the finished size.

Office glue.

Binding clips.

Fat Quarters can be used but you must cut as the pattern states, and will only use half of each per Lantern. You use the extra to add borders to increase the size.

General Sewing Needs:

Sewing machine. Matching thread for sewing machine. Scissors.

Good quality machine needles.
