1x 42 piece layer cake or a large variety of 10” squares as variety is important to the design.

1 metre of fabric for bias or 18 metres of pre-made bias tape.

1 metre of fabric for 2nd border, this will give you joins in the pieces. If you do not want joins then you will need 2.2m.

1 metre of fabric for 1st border and binding.

3 metres of homespun or similar for block backings. These will not be visible in the finished quilt.

1.8m of wadding of 2.4metres or wider.

3.9m of backing fabric.

18m of fusible web strips of ¾”.

1” bias maker.
